Acer launches 3 Windows powered touch devices

                       
 Taiwanese computer giant Acer,  with the launch of 3 new touch-enabled devices powered by Windows8 OS said that 80% of the technology will be touch in the next 2 years. The 3 new products - tablet, ultrabook and notebook - contribute about 12% of its shipments in the next two quarters. Acer ships about 100000-120000 devices every 3 months. The releases are Acer Iconia W3 , ultrabook Aspire3 and a convertible Aspire R7 priced 28k , 50k and 70k respectively.
                                         
  The Acer Iconia W3, the 8.1 inch tablet powered by Intel Atom Z2760 clover trail chipset and comes with a 2MP front and rear camera. It also has support for microSD and micro USB for better connectivity. This device is the first 8 inch Tablet . It also has a virtual keypad sized for optimal thumb typing
 


                               
  The next two devices already made a international launch but are available now for the indian market. Acer India launched ultrabook Aspire P3 which weighs 1.3kg is 0.77 mm thick. It features a11.6inch HD display optional Intel core i3 and i5 processors 4GB ram and intel HD graphics and Dolby audio. It comes with front and rear cameras connectivity options like bluetooth Wifi mini-HDMI USB3.0 . It is bundled with a protective case and bluetooth keyboard.

                   
The company launched its premier offering, Aspire R7 which is a windows 8 convertible laptop with a new hinge design that allows one to use it as a laptop and tablet both. It features a huge 15.6 inch  1080p 10-point-multi touch display with Intel i5 processor 6GB ram , 500 HDD , Intel HD graphics and Dolby audio. It also includes an HD webcam and conectivity options like wifi bluetooth HDMI and usb with card reader
