As i had reported a couple of days back on my blog http://pitstoptech.blogspot.in/2013/06/chinese-astronauts-suceed-in-manual.html about the space docking manually by chineese astronauts, now i take great pleasure in telling that the Chineese spacecraft completes its mission and the astronouts return home safely. It completed a challenging mission to manually dock with a space module. The mission has been completed after successfully docking twice with the Tiangong-1 where they conducted medical experiments and delivered a lecture millions of school children. The spacecraft pulled out the tricky manoeuvre of manually detaching before returning to its previous point on the orbit. The successful manoeuvre was china's 1st test ever making it a step closer to China's goal of building a permanent manned space station by 2020. China first sent a human in space only in 2003 and its capabilities still are behind US and Russia. But its program is highly ambitious and includes to put man on moon. Beijing sees its multi billion dollar space programme as a symbol of its rising global stature, growing technical expertise and the success in turning around the fortune of the once poverty stricken country .
These 3 returned to earth today after a 15 day trip , the longest in the countries history, marking the latest success for China's manned space program. The Shenzhou-10 made a safe landing in the Gobi desert in inner Mongolia this morning after about 15 minutes re-entry process shown live on the state television. The shenzhou 10 carried the countries 2nd women astronaut, Wang Yaping who came out of the module along with commander of the mission Nie Haisheng and Zhang Xiaoguang . The space is our dream but china always our home said the commander. China is expected to conduct more such missions in future.
